Special DJ Engagement: 9pm - 2am

DJ Raw-Burt came down with an illness and I stepped in to DJ/VJ the entire night.  I tore the roof off with great dance jams mixed with breathtaking music videos/live clips/ambient videos.   Normally, the night's music theme is all about "mash-ups" (remix of old and new in one song) but tonight, I changed direction and played mainly retro based songs.   The club may not have been very packed, but the people that were there had an unforgettable time.  Muchos gracias to Devin, Dylan, Amy, Brandon and Marc for coming out to support me.  It's way appreciated!  Hope you get better soon Robert.

SPECIAL ENGAGEMENT:   DJ Matisse mixed the best in dance, retro, alternative, 80's, mash-ups and more all night Tuesday November 1st between 9pm - 2am.

It was the night after Halloween and all through the club, not a creature was stirring, except for DJ Myles Matisse, the bartender, his friend, the bar helper and a total of 5 customers.  Even though it was an incredibly quiet night where absolutely no friends or acquaintances came out, it was the one of the best nights of my DJ life.  The below set list of 47 songs is a true testament to what a damn good DJ can do...even if the club is completely dead.   Lights swirled around the smoke filled room and the atmosphere was electric...with music.  Not one soul took to the dance floor all night and that's okay.  At least I had a good time and as Annie Lennox sings in the new Eurythmics song, "I've Got A Life!"
