Thursday, January 19th 2006 Last night was an odd one. Not too many people showed...the only friend was my roommate...the rest were new people and all were in great spirits. After some audio/visual feedback and tracking problems, everything got on track and I played a great set. Thursday, December 8th 2005 "Club TABOO"...A night of retro disco, modern disco-ey dance, new wave, funk and anything "Taboo". Club name & night inspired by Boy George and his play "Taboo". @ The Palms 8572 Santa Monica Blvd. WeHo This was the very first unofficial night of "Club TABOO" and it went smashingly well! The surprise of the evening came when a threesome of Europeans came and began requesting rock type songs I wasn't prepared to play by the likes of The Clash, Nick Cave, The Smiths and others. Luckily, they had an iPod with them and I gladly integrated it into my mixer and played their requests straight from their machine. Technology is amazing and bringing our world closer together!
