Pictures Covering all subjects in my life, this page is full of family, friends, people, places, things and all things personal.
Father and Son / Grandfather and Father. This is a shot of my grandfather Henry (l) (1896 - 1966) and my dad Kenneth (r) who both loved to play the piano/organ. I took the picture of my father to pay homage to his dad.
My mom and I in Germany while I was stationed there in the Army.
My siblings and I over 10 years ago in Kentucky. From l to r: (sitting) Kathy, Brenda, Becky and (standing) me and Kenny.
My nieces and nephews over a decade ago during simpler times full of fun & reckless abandon!
My nieces (from l to r) Harmony, Belinda, Melissa & Harmony fight for attention and camera space during a family reunion in Kentucky.
My grandfather (mom's dad) sporting a killer suit and looking quite dapper. The epitome of cool.
My dad's siblings and my Aunt "Tootie" Irene (as a baby), Uncle Orbra and Uncle Robert in Kentucky. This was taken in 1926 before my father was born.
'Kids in America': My Uncle Robert holds my dad while posing with their siblings & my Uncle Orbra and Aunt "Tootie" Irene.
The 'Young Americans': Uncle Orbra, Uncle Robert, my dad and Aunt "Tootie" Irene.
'The Rat Pack': My Uncles...Orbra & Robert, dad and Aunt "Tootie" Irene at a 1980 family reunion.
My parents in happy, youthful & loving times.
My brother Kenny doing his best high flying Bruce Lee kick during a sparring practice. A teacher who is well schooled in many areas of the martial arts, my older brother is a force to be reckoned with. For more info, check his site out at: www.kungfu4u.com
A classic portrait of my mom.
Yours truly in full on 80's dress mode during a day out in Tennessee, circa 1984. Depeche mode all the way.
Rico Suave! My friend Robert and I ham it up for the camera and mirror, circa 1984. Cool as ice in a time of fashion excess...eighties style!
My friend Marc Loren, solo artist Nick Heyward (formerly of Haircut 100) and I pose after Nick's gig at Largo in Hollywood circa 2000...one of the many I filmed/video'd for him. FYI: Nick has several solo albums and a huge following in England/Europe. In America, he's known as the lead singer of the "one hit wonder" 80's band 'Haircut 100', which is a serious dis-service to his talent and accomplishments, which far exceed "one hit wonder" status. Blame it on state-side record label execs, bland US radio, and "revisionist history" type programs on VH-1 like 'Where are they Now?' and 'One Hit Wonders' which have a habit of leaving out important career details.
A day at the zoo back in high school with sister Kathy, dad and brother-in-law John.
Me and friend Scott out on the town in Chicago. The balloon hats? Call it a night of decadence gone silly.
My sister and I at rehearsals for the 68th Annual Academy Awards.
Cool elegance...Oscar style. Later that night, I got to introduce Kathy to my acting teacher Jeff Goldblum who was also at the Oscars being nominated for his short film. He always reminded my sister of me. To actually be introducing them was quite cool.
That was then...High School graduation, circa 1983. Posing with Barkley Moore, the president of my graduating school Oneida Baptist Institute.
This is now...Graduation Day 2000. My mom celebrates with me. I left Hollywood for Illinois to finish my degree in Theater and get lead roles on the main stage all of which I did with a passion, focus and maturity that I didn't have right out of high school. Southern Illinois University at Carbondale was a great experience! For more pictures, check out my experiences in...
